Encounters with Bulgaria: The Wondrous Cornucopia of the Nature

You may have heard of the old tale in which Cod gathered all his nations to distribute amongst them his earthly riches. When the Bulgarians' turn finally came, God had given nearly everything away. So instead, He gave them a small piece of land He had torn from Paradise. This parable is as old as time and many nations, undoubtedly, have their own versions of this tale.

Yet, a journey throughout Bulgaria, surely, would explain why most Bulgarians compare their land to an earthly Paradise, as sung in the Bulgarian National Anthem.
