NIKOLAY NIKOV is a first degree researcher in folklore in the National Institute of Education at the Ministry of Education and Science in Sofia, as well as a lecturer at New Bulgarian University and St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia.
His scientific interests are in the field of folklore traditions - Christmas and New Year blessings, children s folklore games, spring rituals, folklore of towns, etc.
He is the author of many books, including Herbal Treatment, Bee Products, Blissful Green Forest, Yambol, once again Yambol, and over 600 popular-science articles.
He has also participated in international symposia and congresses in Bulgaria, France, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Macedonia, Ukraine and others.
